Seeds of Learning
Kids love to play in the dirt!
Starting seeds in eggshells is a great way to let them do what they love and learn a little about gardening while they’re at it. Learning how to grow seedlings in an eggshell is a great way to develop an interest in gardening for all ages of children with many lessons to be learned along the way, but maybe the best lesson for young and old is how much pleasure can be had in doing things together. Join us in creating YOUR winter herb garden!

Children's Book Reading
“We want our children to grow up to be healthy eaters, aware of the way their food choices affect the planet, and how it is produced. Most importantly, we want them to connect the dots between healthy, whole food and happiness.” - Aimee at Simple Bites
Join us around the big tree for a children's book reading.
We’ve gathered a respectable collection of books that we feel nurture healthy food culture. These books relay important messages such as sustainability, preserving the harvest, trying new foods, hospitality, local eating, and growing your own food.
